Zoar Gap Rafting

Fife Brook and the Zoar Gap / Zoar Outdoor
When: Saturday June 13, starting at 10:45am.
Where: Crab Apple, Charlemont, MA. Free camping available Friday-Sunday with other LGBTQ+ people at a nearby campground.
Who: 12 LGBTQ+ people aged 18 and older who want to experience rafting. This trip will consist of all LGBTQ+ rafters to form a safe community to enjoy and be yourself.
What: Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Fife Brook section of the Deerfield River and have fun playing, paddling, and pal-ing around with LGBTQ+ folks while being led down the river by a trained raft guide. More info here.
On Saturday after rafting, join us from 4:30-7:00pm for the free "After Party" at Zoar Outdoor (about 10 minutes west of Crab Apple) with a DJ and drag performers, food, prizes, music, and camaraderie - a great place to meet other boaters!
Cost: Crab Apple has generously provided us with half-off prices, making the full cost for this event $67.50. A sliding scale is available thanks to a grant from Diversify Whitewater and our donors. Note: ALL LGBTQ+ people are welcome, regardless of income level!
Includes: Pre-trip safety instruction, professional guide, life jacket and helmet, wetsuits, post-trip meal (chicken, fish or veggie w/homemade salads, dessert, drinks), transportation to and from river, photo presentation of your adventure.
Camping is available free of charge at a nearby campground.
